Meeting Minutes- December 14, 2020

  1. Call to order-7:00pm
  2. Attendance-Tracy/Kim Stringfellow, Jason Meng, Tonia Boyett, Ranette Downey, Judy Duke
  3. Previous meetings’ minutes- on the website
  4. Treasurer’s report:   Checking: $14,338.35         Savings- $4,600.06
    1. Income-
    2. Deposit- $700 for program ad- included in total
    3. Expenditures- $439.60 for fire ext. and $5 for checking account, $15 monthly charge

  6. Merchandise- no news.  Trailer closed for the season.
  7. Fundraising for the 2020 season-
    1. Clay Shoot- Date is set for April 10th in spring.  Talked to Lonny at Field and Stream.  Deposit of $500 will need to be made in January to guarantee date.  Refund will be given if cancelled due to COVID or rebook it for another date.  Will be charged for 40 shooters minimum @ $1600.  Brian Daino also said to talk to Brett Wall about getting people signed up.
    2. Sign and Drive- Pending date 
  8. Military honor wall update- TV hung in the field house.  Power Point built with the responses received to date.  Working to get it in a format that will allow it to play on the TV.  
  9. Sponsors- Ace Hardware- pending payment.  Invoice has been mailed.  Ranette will follow up.
  10. Banquet-
    1. January date has been cancelled by school administration. We will discuss more in January for an alternative date or alternative plan.  Community Center has been cancelled and so has the caterer.  Player gifts are ordered, and memory book is done.

    2. Some members have voiced interest.  Those present at the meeting were asked to reach out to individuals that might be interested in a board position so it can be discussed at the next meeting.  
    3. Board positions to include President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasure must be appointed by February 1 to comply with bylaws.

  15. Coach’s report- Coach Meng
    1. Coach Meng said that while he was out, Tracy and Markel did an awesome job for off season workouts.
    2. Coach Meng is looking to purchase new helmets for the upcoming season.  Many of the helmets are at least 5 years old.  Will look at the budget to see what can be done.
    3. There are around 12-15 boys/girls working out for powerlifting.
  16. Next booster club meeting- Monday, Jan. 18 at 7:00pm in High School Cafeteria.
