Meeting Minutes- April 25, 2022

  1. Call to order at 7:03pm
  2. Attendance: Earl and Allison Bainbridge, Kim and Tracy Stringfellow, Shirley Vogel, Kristi Miller, Chrissy Kirkland, Brad and Leslie Boyd, Adam Calderone.
  3. Previous meetings’ minutes posted to website.
  4. Treasurer’s report-
    1. Checking- $28,012.97
    2. Savings- $4,603.51
    3. $45 from memberships transferred from Venmo this week.
  5. Old Business
    1. Merchandise- Working with Keith at Sign On to have some samples for our May meeting.
    2. Spring fundraisers:
      1. Golf- due to on-going schedule conflicts, we will table the golf scramble for now and reconsider later.
      2. 7 on 7 middle school tournament- June 4th (and 5th depending on # of participants.
        1. We will have incoming 7th, 8th, & 9th grade divisions focusing on middle school.
        2. Coaches and high school players can help referee and serve at timekeepers.
        3. Both the turf and track football fields will be used so that 4 games can be running at a time.
        4. Duration of games will be determined once we know how many teams sign up.
        5. Flier finalized with minor changes and will be distributed by Coach Boyd this week to area coaches. We will also share on social media.
        6. Winners in each division will be given a prize. Rings were suggested. Allison will look in to cost and share at next meeting.  Team poster will be provided to coaches.
        7. Concessions will be offered. Several members will reach out to community contacts to see who might be willing to set up at our event.
        8. Kim will work on a draft of a liability waiver, roster, and rules (using the SQT Texas State rules as a basis).
      3. Oil Bowl ad- pending
      4. Home game programs- no update
      5. Meet the Dog- Aug. 13th at 7pm- no update
      6. Gator maintenance- no update
