  1. Call to order at 7pm
  2. Attendance: Kim and Tracy Stringfellow, Allison Bainbridge, Shirley Vogel, Chrissi Kirkland, Jodi Lapham, Erick and Jessie Trusty, Tim Owen, Erica Estrada, Dom and April Maldonado, Leslie Boyd.
  3. Previous meetings’ minutes posted to website.
  4. Treasurer’s report-
    1. Checking- $38,600.55
    2. Savings- $4,604.45
    3. Venmo- $0
    4. Petty cash- $300.00
  5. Old Business
    1. Merchandise- Hats are in merchandise trailer. Invoice forwarded to Shirley for payment. Black t-shirts will be reordered since most sizes are sold out.  Seat cushions were discussed.  Chrissi will touch base with Keith on options to have some made. Will not be reordering chairs with seatbacks at this time.  We are out of most small items. Chrissi will get with Kristi to review previous Oriental Trading order and get some items replaced.  Iowa Park t-shirt was discussed. Chrissi will reach out to vendor to see if they will have one again this year.
    2. Varsity leadership retreat to Ft Sill
      1. Date- September 26th– 0800 departure and return prior to 8th period.
    3. Locker room magnets- complete
    4. JV game day t-shirts- ordered. Difficulty getting t-shirts. Awaiting follow up from Sign On on possible options to expedite order.
    5. Friendship Festival- October 1- fees paid.
  6. New Business
    1. Game day:
      1. Spike- volunteers identified. Booster lanyards passed out to those volunteering, so they have access to the field in Krum for Spike.
      2. Horn- assigned.
      3. Equipment trailer still needs clean out from Teacher Orientation/Spike.
    2. Team Dinner- sign up posted on Facebook. Tail gate party theme in the parking lot.
    3. Coaches Lunch- Leslie Boyd volunteered for this week.
    4. Locker rooms
      1. JV- sign up posted on Facebook and Sports You
      2. Varsity- sign up posted on Facebook

  8. Coach’s report- Coach String
    1. JV and Varsity teams played well. Impressed with players drive, sportsmanship, and work ethic.  They played until the end with class.
    2. Krum will be here on Thursday for JV games at 5pm and 6:30pm. Varsity will be in Krum on Friday. Start time is in question with our schedule saying 7pm and their schedule/MaxPreps saying 7:30pm.  Will get clarification from Coach Boyd and share information as soon as possible.
  9. Next booster club meeting- due to Labor Day holiday, we will move the meeting to Tuesday 9/6 at 6:30pm.
